"Giving", is a Biblical principle

The giving of tithes & offering is not just a carnal act of giving money.  It is that “Spirit and truth” WORSHIP to God done in OBEDIENCE to giving in accordance with His Word.  We don’t “pay” tithes and offerings.  We bring to the storehouse (church) and give or present to the Lord what our willing hearts have purposed to give.  God considers this a Holy offering, set aside for Him.

“Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best.”    Proverbs 3:9 (Message Bible)

“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s; it is holy unto the Lord.”  

Leviticus 27:30 (KJV)

The tithe is 10% of your earnings.  Tithe means tenth.  This amount is set by God.  An offering is what you are led to give by the Holy Spirit.

"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,  Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the Lord, even a tenth part of the tithe."   Numbers 18:25-26 (KJV)

We pray that, at the appointed time, as YOU have set aside your tithes and offerings, that YOU bring it, and give it, with joy, as a show of your love, faith, honor, respect, and obedience to God’s word. 

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion,

for God loves a cheerful giver."    2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

Have FAITH, and set your heart in accordance with God's Word.  It is true, YES! God loves cheerful givers. When we know it's to Him we give by way of the church, in supporting Kingdom advancement and productivity.   GIVING helps with work in the church, and work of the church. YES! God wants you to think about your giving.  We have been created in His image, with intelligence, and we have the Holy Spirit to guide us. God always wants us to be aware of our giving.   Always pray, even when you GIVE.  YES! There is a blessing when you give.  YES! You can't beat God's GIVING which manifests in answered prayers, deliverance, breakthroughs, victory, whole families, good jobs, health and strength, blessed marriages, peace, unity, strength, wisdom, sound mind, protection, spiritually, physically, financially, and much more!  Blessings are upon you, as you WORSHIP in GIVING.  Our Heavenly Father cares about the whole person.  

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."    3 John 1:2 (KJV)

Father in Heaven, we thank you for your spirit of GIVING within us.  You have blessed us and continue in your GIVING every day of our lives spiritually and physically.  We say THANK YOU.  As we GIVE in obedience to your word, with our tithes and offering, please receive it from our hearts first in love to you in GIVING back to you.  Empower the minds who represent you, that all who GIVE, sow into the good ground for Kingdom advancement for the family of Christ.  As we give in FAITH of your word, GIVING to your house please bless our house.  We love you, and thank you, in Jesus' name, amen.
